Kellie Martin, an American film and television actress popular for her role as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series "Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Her other notable roles include being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven. She was a niece of her aunt who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. She was able to land important roles on television as well as big screens. Martin is a professional actor in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been working in the field for over twenty years.
